A lot of people aren’t sure, wait until the very last minute, or even worse, after the baby is born to contact me regarding a newborn session. While I occasionally can accommodate last minute bookings, that doesn’t always happen. I had to turn away three babies (already born) one week because I could only take one of them. If you’re here, then that means that you’re interested in a newborn session with me! Yay! If you’re searching my site, you may be asking yourself, “When is the best time to book our baby’s newborn photo shoot?” So lets dive in!

My newborn photo shoots take place between 6-10 days after the baby is born. In order to give my clients the most personable experience, I only take on 2-3 clients a month. This limit doesn’t just apply to newborn babies, but also milestone and maternity! SO, hurry up and book, fast! But when is the best time to book your newborn session? If you want a guaranteed spot on my books, the answer is sometime during your second trimester, at LEAST before 32 weeks. I book months in advanced, sometimes becoming fully booked 6+ months out due to the extremely low volume of clients that I take on.

I also offer Fresh 48 sessions. These are in hospital sessions catered to moms who are just not feeling posed newborn, but want high quality photos of their fresh new squish! These should also be booked ahead, as they are an “on call” type of session!
