Maternity photography takes place between 30-34 weeks in term. Most of Haili’s clients book their maternity photos at or around 20 weeks in term.
Amber and Daniel booked their maternity photoshoot super last minute. They have been trying for this angel baby for YEARS, so when they saw a post by my client Amber Smith, they just knew that they had to schedule with me, and reached out to see if I had any last minute availability.
I was able to get their maternity photos scheduled that next week. At their session, we did mom only, but I also let dads join in for a few photos at no additional cost. The focus is definitely on mom, but this is a huge milestone for dad, too!
At their shoot, we had a blast getting to know one another. Because they booked my Bump to Baby plan, we talked about what they envisioned for their newborn photos. My client’s love getting to assist in designing their newborn photos. Matching your home colors, baby’s nursery, and your lifestyle is of huge importance to me.
Daniel, a.k.a. dad, is a Round Rock Firefighter, so we talked about how they wanted to incorporate that into their newborn photos. I LOVE when my clients want to bring something that means a lot to them for their sessions. I think part of the job is to capture your family as it is now to reflect back on later.
At their maternity photoshoot, Amber said she was totally down for whatever! My favorite part of being a maternity photographer is when my clients let me get creative. At her maternity photo shoot we tried out my glow light set ups, and boy, did they not disappoint. See the photos below!
